Each summer Rose and her parents go to their summer holiday home near the sea; the summer told in this graphic novel is different from the others: Rose will spend her time with her friend Wendie and will be forced to reflect about some events.
First of all her mother emotional detachment due to her inability to have other children, and then the observation of the ups and downs of the relationshib between the boy at the shop and his girlfriend.
The drawings are simple and the dialogues are very concise; the story is mainly told by images – all on shades of blue – to tell Rose summer.
Thanks to the publisher for providing me the copy necessary to write this review.
