This book, suited for children able to read by themselves and who already attend school, show how geometric shapes can be found also in nature and in everyday world.
For each shape some basic mathematic and geometric information are provided, however there are also other kind of information: from history, architecture, nature. For each shape some activities are proposed: logical games linked to the shape or manual activities with the purpose to create small objects.
Each explanation is provided with illustrations and how-to images.
It’s a very interesting book since it does not provide only the basic info, but also activities that can be interesting for children and allow them to “test” by themselves.
Thanks to the publisher for providing me the copy necessary to write this review.
