[ARC] Polar: Came from the Cold by Victor Santos

Polar by Victor Santos is a mostly silent graphic novel: a few dialogues and lots of action.

The drawings are neat and all the images are based on three colours (white, black and red) upon which the scene is build; I liked in particular an action scene made by a sequence of images with increasing level of zoom.
The story is quite simple: an ex-agent has to find out who wants him dead.

Polar di Victor Santos è una graphic novel piuttosto silenziosa, pochissimi e scarni i dialoghi mentre si prediligono le scene d’azione.

I disegni sono netti e tutte le tavole giocano su tre colori (nero, bianco e rosso) con cui vengono costruite le immagini, in particolare ho trovato ben riuscita una scena costituita da immagini in sequenza sempre più “zoomate”.
La storia è piuttosto scarna in termini di contenuti: un ex-agente deve cercare di trovare chi vuole eliminarlo.
