The book belongs to the Choose your own misery series, and, as the title suggests, it is set in the Christmas time.
The idea of this series is simple: to create a “choose your own adventure” book for adults and set in a standard situation, in this case the objective is to have the best Holidays is possible – very difficult, since the already booked vacation is no more possible, due to flight cancellation for bad weather.
The reader now has to become the unlucky protagonist and decide for him the best course: it is better to book a flight to Jamaica or to spend the holidays with girlfriend & her parents? In any case it will be miserable, but the choices are funny and the consequences unexpected.
I had access to the digital edition, it was well-built, the link i tested did function correctly; unfortunately the non touch version of the Kindle made the experience a bit tiring. A possible improvement in the link structure could be to insert at every ending a link at least to the first choice.
Thanks to the publisher for providing me the copy necessary to write this review.
