Piccola premessa: ho già letto diversi romanzi di Chuck Wendig (la serie sulla meravigliosa Miriam Black ad esempio), e avevo già letto la novella Shotgun Gravy che costituisce la prima parte di questo romanzo quando era ancora una storia stand alone (dal finale decisamente aperto).
Alla novella era seguito il romanzo Bait Dog che cominciava dalla conclusione della novella; trovo sensata l’idea di unire i due lavori in un quest’unico romanzo visto che la prima storia aveva effettivamente una continuità evidente in Bait Dog.

A note: I read some novels by Chuck Wendig (like the wonderful series about Miriam Black), and I already read the Shotgun Gravy novella – that is the first part of this novel – when it was a stand-alone story (with an open ending ).
The novel Bait Dog was the follow-up to the novella; I think it was a good idea to merge the two works into a single novel since there was an actual continuity between the two.
